The Church
BRAND IDENTITY
The Church is a downtown fitness club located in the heart of St. Catharines, Ontario, dedicated to building a fitness community where everyone feels welcome. It’s a place where people feel supported, seen, and strong, no matter where they’re starting from. They believe fitness should be approachable, empowering, and flexible enough to meet their clients at any stage in their journey.
The Church isn’t just a fitness club; it’s a community where everyone is welcomed, supported, and encouraged.

The Church is a boutique fitness club housed in a building rich with church-like architecture — a space where strength, discipline, and community come together. The logo reflects this harmony through a minimalist design: a kettlebell silhouette with a cross subtly integrated into its form. This visual pairing symbolizes both physical and personal strength, while nodding to the building’s history and the founder’s vision of inclusivity.
Rooted in the concept of belonging, The Church is intentionally small, welcoming only fifty members to foster genuine connection and a zero-judgment atmosphere. The simplicity of the mark mirrors this ethos — refined, honest, and grounded — representing a gym that values people first and encourages every member to “practice what they preach.”
